Penzance could end up loosing more jobs than it gains in the harbour redevelopment – that’s what Friends of Penzance Harbour have told politicians in Brussels. The dispute over plans for a new ferry terminal were discussed yesterday in the European Parliament. The British Green MEP, Keith Taylor, took part in the debate and was horrified by the allegations. He says it would be unjustifiable to pump European millions into a project which could cost jobs. |
