The dispute over the proposed new Penzance – Scilly ferry link has been debated in the European Parliament. Campaign group, Friends of Penzance Harbour, petitioned the parliament to investigate the project which they says will damage the environment and landscape. John Maggs from Friends of Penzance Harbour spoke in the debate. He told politicians why they were so concerned about the development.
