The European Culture Commissioner is visiting the South West today on the invitation of our region’s Lib Dem MEP. Androulla Vassiliou is responsible for European issues to do with Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth. Lib Dem, Graham Watson, says Wells Cathedral School ticks all the boxes. He wants to see it become the leading institution for musicians. And he says that where the Commissioner goes, there’s at least the chance money will follow. |
