GM crops could be grown in Scotland – that’s the fear of SNP, Ian Hudghton. Last week the European Commission gave the go ahead for genetically modified potatoes to be grown in Europe. But the UK government would also need to give its consent before planting could begin here. Ian Hudghton says he's worried that the Scottish government wouldn't be consulted at all. |
