At each plenary session of the European Parliament, which takes place in Strasbourg for one week each month, Quadrant producers and journalists will identify news stories of relevance to the various radio audiences within the UK.
News interviews will be recorded with relevant MEPs and spokespersons and edited into news length sound bites. A lead in script, together with a story synopsis, list of interviewees, duration and out-words will be posted onto this site for download and use by radio stations within the UK.
This service, funded by the European Parliament, is FREE to all UK broadcasters. The radio stations making use of the service retain editorial control, editorial balance and the decision to use or not use the service.
UK radio stations can also request a specific interview be recorded and fed to them, or a live 2-way, by contacting Quadrant’s journalist or senior producer at the Parliament: |
